Merry Christmas!

Jesus Christ was a historical figure, as shows our modern calendar, which is divided following His life, between B.C ("before Christ"), and A.D periods. On Christmas Day, Christians are celebrating the birth of this long-awaited Messiah.

From humble beginnings in Bethlehem, He rose to a public role, starting the Christian religion. His teachings expanded on the Scriptures, with new emphasis on selfless love for others, and a greater understanding of the Holy Trinity. His claim to be the Son of God was mostly rejected, and He was crucified. He died for our sins, so we may be forgiven, and rejoin with Him after death, for eternity.
